JR FLORAL DESIGNER (WEST END TORONTO) We’re hiring!! We've got big plans for the future and are looking for new members to join our multi disciplinary team. We’re currently looking for both a Junior Designer and Shop Assistant. Please see below for details: . . Both positions are part time with the potential of evolving into full time. . For Junior Designer Position -benefits but not necessities: Basic knowledge of how to construct a bouquet and vase arrangement Experience processing cut flowers Background in plant care . . General Requirements for Either Position: Customer service experience, preferably in retail sales Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible schedule, must be available Saturdays and floral holidays Able to share ideas, collaborate and contribute constructively to the team Highly adaptable, able to switch between tasks with strong time management skills Must be computer/POS literate Comfortable moving and lifting heavy items, up to approximately 30lbs Able to stand for long periods of time Excellent written and verbal communication skills . . Desirable to have: Experience in floral retail environment Knowledge of Shopify systems Familiar with social media for business .
